The brief
The brief for this project was to design a set of visuals to promote ACTAsia's online course about sustainability in fashion and fur free fashion. At the beginning of the project, I was given a loose creative direction and to fulfil the brief, I created a series of visual collages.
The concept behind the collages is models wearing fur garments standing with animals that are impacted by the fur trade. The elements of the image with fur are cut out and replaced with green foliage to represent the environmental impact that the fur trade has on the world around us.
One of the main challenges of this project was to allow each collage to speak for itself, whilst ensuring cohesion across the designs as a set. Each visual needed to look good on its own but it was also important that they had elements that tied them together.
